Angel’s work lives all over the world. For decades, it was never centrally archived, systematically dated, or digitally documented. As a documentary moves toward completion and a foundation takes shape, we are now rebuilding the archive from the ground up.

The LA2 Archive is a collective effort to create the first comprehensive digital record of his work. By mapping paintings, drawings, objects and collaborations, we begin to see the evolution of the line, the characters, and the different periods that shaped his practice.

If you own a work by Angel, whether it is a small tagged object or a large canvas, we invite you to participate. Submit photographs and basic details. Every contribution helps complete the historical picture.
